Behaviour Policy
To protect guest safety, water quality, and sauna hygiene, all guests must follow the standards below at all times.
Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the premises and suspension from future visits.
1. Health & Hygiene Standards
In accordance with Danish environmental hygiene guidance, all guests must shower naked and wash their entire body and hair with soap before entering any shared water (including ice baths) or the sauna.
Rinsing without soap is not sufficient.
After each sauna round, guests must rinse off all sweat in the shower before re-entering the ice bath. Direct entry from the sauna to the ice bath is strictly prohibited for hygiene reasons.
Keep your head above water in ice baths at all times.
Do not shave, scrub, or perform personal grooming in shared areas.
2. Water Quality & Testing
Our facility uses continuous filtration, disinfection, and routine self-monitoring to maintain compliant water quality.
Guest behavior directly affects microbiological and chemical balance. Follow all shower and rinse requirements to reduce bather load (sweat, skin cells, and bacteria).
Any action that contaminates shared water, surfaces, or equipment is prohibited.
3. Code of Conduct
Treat all guests and staff with courtesy and respect. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or aggressive behavior is strictly prohibited.
Maintain a calm atmosphere. Loud talking, disruptive behavior, or playing music without permission is not allowed.
Photography or recording is strictly forbidden in all sauna and bathing areas.
4. Sauna-Specific Hygiene Rules
A large towel is mandatory inside the sauna for hygiene and wood preservation.
The towel must cover the entire area where you sit or lie, including your feet. No skin may come into direct contact with sauna benches.
No shoes or outdoor clothing are allowed inside the sauna.
5. Health & Safety Exclusions
Access is strictly denied to persons with infectious diseases, including diarrhea or vomiting within the last 48 hours.
Access is also denied to persons with open sores, wounds, or contagious skin conditions (including athlete's foot).
Do not enter if you feel unwell, dizzy, or unable to safely tolerate heat/cold exposure. Notify staff immediately if you or someone else needs help.
6. Essential Oils, Scrubs, and Products
To protect air quality and prevent damage to the sauna oven, personal essential oils, salt scrubs, honey, and similar products are strictly forbidden.
Only products provided and administered by our certified Gusmester may be used during sessions.
7. Food, Drink, and Substances
Alcohol or drug use is strictly prohibited in all sauna and bathing areas.
Do not bring food or drinks into the sauna cabins or ice bath zones unless explicitly permitted by staff.
8. Enforcement
Any guest who fails to follow these rules may be asked to leave immediately. Serious or repeated violations may result in a temporary or permanent ban.
